Annette Hebard, Owner / Director -
                
Creative Movement, Preschool, Ballet/Tap I & II, Tap, Tap/Jazz I & II, Jazz, Contemporary
      Annette began dance lessons at age 12.  She graduated from Bennett College in Millbrook, NY in 1977 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Dance.  From 1978 to 1983 she was a member of the Jeannette Niell Dancers and The Beverly Richards Dancers in Boston, Massachusetts.  In 1982 Annette was a member of The Heartbreakers, a professional cheerleading squad for the Boston Breakers of the USFL.  She has also performed in industrial shows for Thom McAnn and Kendell Pharmaceuticals.  Annette was a former faculty member of the Betty Gunderson Studio of Dance in West Brookfield, Massachusetts and the Charlotte Klein Dance Centers in Westboro and Worcester, Massachusetts, as well as other studios, before opening the Putnam Dance Center in 1996.

     Annette has had the pleasure of watching many former students find success on Broadway, on cruise ships, TV, and those who have gone on to teach and choreograph (most proudly Chamoni and Jen).  She has choreographed musicals at The Bradley Playhouse as well as high school and college cheerleading squads.  She has been a dance instructor for over 20 years.  Annette choreographed the winning routines for Mister Dance of New England and Master Dance of New England.  Her choreography has won numberous regional and national awards.  She was also a student at the Muriel Grossfield School of Gymnastics in th mid 1970's and was among the top 10 gymnasts in the State of Connecticut in 1975.  Annette and her husband Verne have three daughters, Veronica, Audra, and Alexa and currently live in Auburn, Massachusetts. Annette is a member of the Dance Masters of America, Chapter #5.
Jennifer Paquette - Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Jazz
      This is Jen's 3rd year teaching at The Putnam Dance Center.  Jen studied dance at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration on Jazz Dance Performance.  There she studied ballet, pointe, jazz, hip-hop, tap, lyrical, modern and voice.  She received the Dance Program's Performance Scholarship Award for all four years and the University's Academic Scholarship Award for three years.  She has worked with world renowned teachers such as Joe Lanteri, Joe Tremain, Frank Hatchett, Mia Michaels and Gus Giordano in many classes and conventions.  She is a former dance company member at the Charlotte Klein Dance Centerin Worcester, Massachusetts, and a feature dancer in the Wachusett Summer Theater Program adult productions of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" and "Guys and Dolls".  Jen continued her studies in New York CIty at the Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway while living in Brooklyn, New York.  Jen's choreography of "Dancin' in the Streets" has recently earned a 1st place High Overall Score.
Heather Schmidt Ballet, Jazz
       This is Heather's second year teaching at the Putnam Dance Center.  She was a former Company member with the Charlotte Klein Dance Centers.  She teaches for the surrounding Worcester County.  Her specialties are Terrific Two's through Pre-K classes.  Heather also has obtained an associate's degree in Early Childhood Development from Quinsigamond College and a Director's License from Becker College.  She currently works full time at the Hanover Insurance Group where she is a Senior Administrative Assistant.  She lives in the Worcester area with her husband Tom and son Jonathan.
Chamoni Mossa-Simone - Ballet
        This is Chamoni's 4th year teaching at The Putnam Dance Center.  Chamoni studied dance at Worcester county studios and with the Worcester Youth Ballet, studing with Kevin Milam.  She spent a summer in Bermuda and performed in the corps de ballet of the Bermuda Civic Ballet.  After this achievement, Chamoni attended Dean College in Franklin, Massachusetts and The University of Hartford in West Hartford, Conecticut where she obrtained a BFA in Dance Performance.  During college she studied with Jill Silverman, Alla Osipienko, Maria Youskevich, Wang Sho Pen, Penny Lyman, Raymond Luken, Franco DeVita and many others.  Chamoni continues her education by working toward a teacher certification in the Cecchetti Method of ballet.  Chamoni completed Grade 1, 2 and 3 certifications and is currently working toward her 4th.  In order to achieve these certifications she studies with a coach on a regular basis.  Chamoni has recently become a member of the Cecchetti Council of America and has attended the Cecchetti Council of America Summer School.  Chamoni has been teaching for 7 years at studios in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.  Her students have received overall high score awards as well as technical excellence and choreography awards.  They have also performed at Disney's Magic Music Days and some have also moved on to college, achieving parts with companies in Boston, Philadelphia and New York.
Eve SummerBallet, Pointe
         This is Eve's second year teaching for the PDC.  She has studied with the Kirov Ballet along side many of the company's greats.  She continued her training with the Boston Ballet with Carolyn Eaton, Yelena Vinogradova, and Tatiana Legat as well as many others.  She was a principal dancer with the Worcester Youth Ballet, following which she studied with Seffon Long, Maria Vegh, and others.  Even dance Corps de Ballet and soloist roles for three years as a company member of the Inland Pacific Ballet Company in such performances as "Giselle", "Coppelia", "the Nutcracker", "Les Sylphides", andthe world premiere of Arturos Fernandez's "Dracula".  In California she assisted Patricia Neary of the New York City Ballet setting Balanchine's "Serenade".  Eve as acted as Ballet Mistress and Choreographer teaching in California and Massachusetts.  Most recently she starred and choreographed "Romeo and Juliet" for Assumption College, as well as choreographing "The Tempest" for Redfeather Theater, and directing "Extremities" for Assumption.   She is currently majoring in French and German with a minor in Italian studies.

Alison Stewart - Acting
      Alison is thrilled to be offering acting classes at the PDC!  Before moving to the Quiet Corner two years ago, Alison lived in the Boston area and New York City.  She has performed in regional theater, summer stock, and a national tour.  Some of her favorite roles include Mabel in Pirates of Penzance, Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense, Maria in the Sound of Music, Ado Annie in Oklahoma!, Shelby in Steel Magnolias, and Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream.  Over the years, Alison has enjoyed sharing her love of the arts through teaching acting and voice.  She has received a BA in music and voice performance with a minor in theater from the University of New Hampshire.  Alison holds a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Creative Arts in Learning.
Lisa Trottier - Ballet
       Lisa, a retired studio owner, has studied with many teachers in the Worcester area as well as artists such as Mark Morris, Robert Barnet and David Howard.  She has performed with the Boston Ballet Company in many of their Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty productions.  Lisa has been a member of The Dance Prism under the direction of Scott Ranagan and Mary Demaso and has danced roles such as the Dew Drop Fairy, Snow Queen, and Sugar Plum Fairy for The Nutcracker, Alice in Alice in Wonderland, and the lead role of Cinderella.
       Lisa taught dance for ten years before opening her own studio in September 1993.  Many of her students have been recipients of competitive awards and have made appearances with companies such as Dance Prism, The Pittsburgh Ballet, Albany Berkshire Ballet, the Indianapolis Ballet, and have gone on to major in Dance in college or open up their own studios.
       She currently judges for the highly acclaimed Olympic Miss Dance Competition.  She devotes much of her time to helping students achieve their goals, in addition to raising her own children, Jon Michael, Jesse, and Kendralyn.  Lisa is very excited to share her love of children and dance!
Gina Harper - Hip Hop, certified Zumba
      Gina began danging at an early age.  She attended the Jen-Deb School of Dance in Enterprise, Alabama.  She studied all forms of dance including tap, jazz, ballet, acrobatics, and pointe.  Gina participated in award-winning dance team competitions for 6 years including First Place in the Dance Masters of America National Dance Competition in New York City in 1987. She enjoys sharing her passion for dance at the PDC!
Rachel White - Ballet
       Rachel White began her training at the New Haven Ballet in Connecticut.  She also trained and performed with the School of American Ballet, the Hartford Ballet, and the Pacific Northwest Ballet as well as Boston Ballet's BBII.  She has taught regularly for Dance Master's of America and the National Association of Dance and Affilliated Arts throughout New England.  Currenly, Ms. White is a certified member of Dance Masters of America and is an adjudicator for several dance competitions regionally and nationally.  Ms. White continues to train in the Vaganova style of ballet at the Massachusetts Academy of Ballet.  She is also a published dance critic for a national arts publication and the Bushnell Theater Centre for the Performing Arts.
