Dress Code

All classes: Stud style earrings ONLY

NO other jewelry is allowed with the exception of Medic Alert

Dress Code for male dancers:

  • Hip Hop:
    • Solid color T-shirt, comfortable pants, and black Hip-Hop sneakers
  • All other styles (Including creative movement, pre-school, Ballet, Tap, and Jazz)
    • White cotton T-shirt
    • Black shorts, leggings, jazz pants or joggers. NO BAGGY SWEATPANTS.
    • Shoes:
      • Jazz: Black Revolution Jazz boots
      • Ballet: Black Revolution Ballet slippers
      • Tap:
        • Beg. Levels: Black Revolution Tap shoes
        • Int. – Adv. Black Oxford, any brand
      • Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical:
        • Foot undies, foot thongs, or barefoot

Creative Movement

  • Leotard – Black, pink, or light blue solid color, any style; attached skirts only
  • Tights – Pink footed tights
  • Shoes – Pink REVOLUTION ballet slippers
  • Hair – Pulled back in a ponytail; or restrained behind ears if too short for ponytail

 

Pre-School

  • Leotard – Black, pink, or light blue solid color, any style; attached skirts only
  • Tights – Pink footed tights
  • Shoes – Pink ballet slippers & white tap shoes (both REVOLUTION)
  • Hair – Pulled back in a ponytail; or restrained behind ears if too short for ponytail

 

Ballet/Tap 1 & 2

  • Leotard – Black, pink, or light blue solid color, any style; attached skirts only
  • Tights – Pink convertible tights
  • Shoes – Pink ballet slippers & white tap shoes (both REVOLUTION)
  • Hair – Pulled back in a ponytail; or restrained behind ears if too short for ponytail

 

Ballet 1 & 2

  • Leotard – Black, pink, or light blue solid color, any style; attached skirts only
  • Tights – Pink convertible tights
  • Shoes – Pink REVOLUTION ballet slippers
  • Hair – Pulled back in a ponytail; or restrained behind ears if too short for ponytail

 

Tap/Jazz 1 & 2

  • Leotard – Black, pink, or light blue solid color, any style; attached skirts only
  • Tights – Pink or tan convertible tights
  • Shoes – Tan REVOLUTION tap shoes
  • Hair – Pulled back in a ponytail; or restrained behind ears if too short for ponytail

Tap (All Levels Beg. – Adv.)

  • Leotard – Black; NO skirts
  • Tights – Tan convertible tights, Black booty shorts over tights are okay
  • Shoes
    • Beg. Levels – Tan tap shoes, Capezio 3800 Caramel
    • Int./Adv. Levels – Black oxford tap shoes, any brand
  • Hair – Pulled back in a ponytail; or restrained behind ears if too short for ponytail

 

Jazz (Beg. Levels)

  • Leotard – Black; NO skirts
  • Tights – Pink convertible tights
  • Shoes – Revolution tan Jazz boots
  • Hair -Neat bun; or restrained behind ears if too short for ponytail

 

Jazz (Int./Adv. Levels)

  • Leotard – Black; NO skirts
  • Tights – Pink convertible tights
  • Shoes – Black Pedinis (character shoes by request of teacher)
  • Hair – Strict bun

 

Hip-hop (All Levels Beg. – Adv.)

  • Leotard – Black; NO skirts
  • Tights – Pink or tan convertible tights
  • Comfortable pants can be worn – NO shorts
  • Shoes – Black hip-hop sneakers
  • Hair – Pulled back in a ponytail; or restrained behind ears if too short for ponytail

 

Contemporary, Lyrical, and Modern (All Levels Beg. – Adv.)

  • Leotard – Black; NO skirts
  • Tights – Pink convertible tights
  • Shoes – Foot  thongs / Foot undies
  • Hair – Strict bun

 

Acro (All Levels Beg. – Adv.)

  • Leotard – Any color/any style; NO skirts
  • Tights – No tights
  • Shoes – Bare feet
  • Hair – Pulled back in a ponytail; or restrained behind ears if too short for ponytail
