Danielle Duquette

Danielle is starting her first year at Putnam Dance Center with a background in both dance and coaching.  Danielle began dancing when she was four years old at Kimberly’s School of Dance Education in North Grosvenordale, CT, where she enjoyed ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical and especially tap.  She continued dancing throughout high school and college recreationally.  In recent years, Danielle has enjoyed adult classes locally and in cities such as Boston, Hartford, and Worcester.  This year she became a licensed Zumba instructor, merging her interests in fitness, dance, and education.  In addition to her time spent dancing, Danielle works at The Woodstock Academy as a Social Studies teacher and in the past has coached unified sports teams.  She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets, and loves to cook, read, watch Netflix series and spend time outdoors, especially at the lake.  Danielle is really excited for the opportunity to teach tap classes at the studio and to offer Zumba classes to adults and teens in the community.  For more information on Zumba offerings you can email Danielle at danielle.duquette@gmail.com or follow her Instagram account, @dancewithdd
