Danielle Duquette

This is Danielle’s second year at Putnam Dance Center and she’s so glad to be back teaching her favorite genre, tap.  Danielle began dancing when she was four years old at Kimberly’s School of Dance Education in North Grosvenordale, CT, where she learned ballet, pointe, jazz, and lyrical as well as tap. She danced in high school competitively and has continued to dance in her adult life for recreational purposes.  In recent years, Danielle has enjoyed adult classes locally and in cities such as Boston, Hartford, and Worcester.  She is also a licensed Zumba instructor, merging her interests in fitness, dance, and education.  In addition to her time spent dancing, Danielle works at The Woodstock Academy as a Social Studies teacher and in the past has also coached unified sports teams.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and loves to cook, read and participate in outdoor activities.  Danielle is really excited for the opportunity to teach tap classes at the studio again this year!
