Kelsey is a 15 year old freshman honors student at Killingly High School, who takes school and dance very seriously and is devoted to her progression as a professional dancer. She has been dancing at The Putnam Dance Center for 12 years and has been a member of the competition team for 10 years, She takes classes in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, modern, and point. Kelsey has been a recipient of the studio’s “Most Improved” award. She attends summer intensive classes at the studio as well as the annual “Pulse” convention in Atlantic City with the “So You Think You Can Dance” choreographers, during which she was awarded a scholarship to attend next year’s workshop. Kelsey dances for various charity events in the local area to support many causes. She has been a teacher’s assistant for the past 4 years.
